Salvatore V. "Sam" Galate, Jr. died Nov. 28, 2004. Galate was "born June 16, 1921, in Cleveland, Oh. He served in WWII and was a decorated member of "Merrill's Marauders" in China, Burma, and India. He returned to Kansas City and owned and operated his own business until his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4962. |
