Kenneth S. Scherer, 63, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center.
Mr. Scherer was a long-time member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #4962, and was a past Grand Knight for the chapter, and most recently served as the bookkeeper for the State of Missouri Knights of Columbus. He served as the State Deputy of the Knights of Columbus of Missouri and also was a former Master of the Fourth Degree. Mr. Scherer was a member for more than twenty years of the St. Bernadette's Catholic Church and volunteered as a lector and a member of the Finance Board. He was the first Treasurer of R.E.A.P. and served on the Board of Director's of the United Catholic Credit Union.
