A memorial service for Kevin J. Krivacsy will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, with Father Andrew Trapp officiating. Burial will follow the serivce at 3pm in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8pm, with a Rosary at 6pm, on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Kornegay & Moseley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbus H.O.P.E. Foundation, c/o Transfiguration Knights of Columbus Council #13713, 9720 Wilson Blvd., Blythewood, SC 29016.

Kevin passed away on March 30, 2015 at the age of 75 after an extended illness. Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, he was the son of the late John and Florence Krivacsy. Kevin was a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson University, where he received a B.S. in Chemistry. He retired to SC in 2007, where he became a very active member at Transfiguration Catholic Church. His primary focus was being a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 13713. In 2008-2009 he received the Catholicity Award, however, his greatest accomplishment was being named South Carolina's 2010-2011 Knight of the Year.

He is survived by his loving companion, Anne Cannon; children, Tom Krivacsy, Yvonne Wolfe, and Carolyn Schoonover; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Vincent and Jack Krivacsy; and sister, Karen Kine. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Ruth Hewitt Krivacsy.
