JOSEPH M. LALUMIA

Joseph Lalumia, 87, of Raytown, MO, passed away December 7, 2011 surrounded by his family. Joseph was born June 22, 1924 in Kansas City, MO, to Andrew and Augustine (Gravino) Lalumia. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving under General Patton, and was a member of the American Legion. He was a member of St. Bernadette Parish and the St. Joseph Society, and was a third-degree honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Midwest Terminal. Joe loved the Chiefs and Royals. He enjoyed making Italian sausage and wine for friends and family, and he loved supporting his family and friends in all their projects.

The family would like to thank the excellent caregivers at Bickford House, Westridge Gardens, and St. Luke's East, and Dr. Keith Jantz for the exceptional care he received over the years.
