A mass of Christian burial for Kansas City, Mo. (and former Chillicothe, Mo.) resident Father Thomas Richard "Dick" Saale, 86, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, was held at St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012.
Celebrants were Bishop Robert J. Finn and Father Angelo Bartulica. Father Robert J. Mahoney, Phd was the homilist. Servers were Maggie Leather man, Garrett Donoho, Jolynn Reeter, Noah Cross, and Colin Carlton.
Toby Minnis was the reader. Organist was Brenda Lauh off. Soloist was Mary Garr. Musical selection was "On Eagles Wings," "Be Not Afraid," "Ave Maria," and "You Are Mine."
Pallbearers were Jerry Davis, Rodney Jones, Eddie Jones, Vince Jones, Richard Stephens, Dick Saale, and Joe Ross. Honorary pallbearers were Bill McCoy and Charles Venneman.
Interment was at Saint Columban's Cemetery, Chillicothe, Mo.
