CONRAD PIERRE "PETE" CAMPBELL Conrad "Pete" Campbell, 80, passed away Oct. 19, 2014. Pete was born Feb. 2, 1934 in Fall River, MA. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, enlisting right after high school & attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was married to Margaret Botelho for 56 years & through this union 5 children were born. After military service, he attended & graduated from Rockhurst College with a degree in Business. While attending college he was employed at Western Electric & continued that employment after graduation. He ultimately retired after 35 plus years of service. After retirement, he worked for the I.R.S. for 6 more years & retired again. Pete was a past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #4962 & also held other various offices. He was a long time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church & active in their church activities & organizations. He was a member of the local Home Owner's Association, the American Legion & WECO SAGE Alumni. He loved to attend his children's and grandchildren's sporting activities. Over the years, Pete's hobbies included golf, bowling, soft ball & traveling, but he was happiest at home. Holidays & birthdays were a time family got together and were always special. He was a kind, generous, gentle man. Heaven has one more beautiful soul today. |
