Donald Kenneth Bowman, 71, KCMO, passed away November 23, 2014. Donald was born January 20, 1943 to Garland and Mary Bowman in Ridgeway, MO. He was a veteran of the United States Army, active in the American Legion, a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization, Tirey J. Ford Post 21 in Independence, MO. Don served as Chaplain of the American Legion Riders, well known for their charitable work for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded service members and scholarships. Don was also active in his Church, Our Lady of Lourdes, and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4962. |
