Byron and Carole moved to Zionsville in 1972 and joined St Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church. His Life revolved around his faith, his family and community. Byron’s passion for helping others led him to volunteer with several Indianapolis and Zionsville area groups including Right to Life of Indianapolis at their annual State Fair booth, SEARCH, St. Vincent De Paul, Wheeler Mission, and the Salvation Army’s Barton Center. He also taught Religious Education (CCD). Byron attended Cursillo and later served as a volunteer at several subsequent retreats. Byron is a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Council 12510 and was a Fourth Degree member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Assembly #3551 Knights of Columbus. |
