DON MEULEMANS

 

Donald “Don” J. Meulemans, 90, passed away Sunday evening, December 14, 2025. He was born on November 29, 1935, to the late Jerome and Agnes (Etten) Meulemans.

Don graduated from St. Boniface Grade School and Nicolet High School.

Don served his country in the United States Air Force, during the Korean Conflict era.

On August 27, 1960, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Boehm at Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, Green Bay.

Don was a rural letter carrier and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 40 years of service.

He enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader and history buff, and an all around sports fan.

A faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, De Pere, as well as a member of Abbot Pennings Council 3955 of the Knights of Columbus, and Wrightstown American Legion Post 436, Don was active in his community.

He is survived by his children; Ann Meulemans, Susan (Steven) Todd, and Michael Meulemans. Grandchildren; Laura, Marie, Clare, Lindsay, Justin, Ethan, and Elana. Great Grandchildren; Violet, Ezra, Mabel, Oscar, Ruby, Charlie and Ella, as well as his siblings, Darlene (Fred) Gereau, Clifford (Paulina) Meulemans, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Kathleen, and sister and brother-in-law Marion (Jerome)Vissers.

Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1305 Lourdes Ave., De Pere from 12:00PM – 1:45PM, Friday, December 26, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00PM with Fr. James Baraniak O.Praem. officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere is assisting the family.
