JOSEPH N. FAGNANI JR

 

Joseph N. Fagnani Jr., 81, of Altoona, formerly of Tuckahoe, N.Y., passed away Monday afternoon at UPMC Shadyside. He was born in Yonkers, N.Y., son of the late Joseph N. Sr. and Esther (Gentile) Fagnani.

Joe married Celia A. Fowler on May 20, 2000.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Celia; two sons, Michael Anthony Hugh Fagnani and Adrian Jacob; a daughter, Julie G. Fagnani, all of New York, N.Y.; six grandchildren: Adrianna, Trayvon, Mykal, Mathieu, Mykayla and Maxx; and his brother, George Fagnani, of Tuckahoe, N.Y.

Joe was a graduate of Syracuse University.

He retired from ITT as their Senior Systems Analyst.

Joe was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

He belonged to the Rotary Club of Altoona and served as the president of Service Paws of Central Pennsylvania.

Joe liked ballroom dancing and being a part of the Pennsylvania Council of the Blind.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 5519 Sixth Ave., Altoona, with Father John Lynam, celebrant.

Committal will be held at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
