Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Saturday, September 26, 2009. John E. Garrity in his 74th year, loving husband of Patricia of 51 years (nee Walker). Loving father to Michelle (Doug) Collette, Patrick (Juanita), and Michael. Caring grandfather to Matthew, Nathan, Liam and Sean. Caring brother–in–law to Jacqueline Walker. Caring brother to Ted (Betty) of Belleville. Predeceased by twin brother Bill and brother Patrick. Also, thank you to two very special couples Joan and Ray Savard, Donna and Bob Mc Kinley for their friendship and kindness through the years. Very dedicated volunteer to the Cancer Society helping with the Relay for Life and the Silent Auction. He was really looking forward to receiving his 10 year pin this year. He was also a loyal and dedicated employee to Westside Furniture. Many thanks to the Doctors and staff of the R.V.H. Intensive Care.
