James "Jim" Herr of O'Fallon, MO, died on Monday, March 30, 2015, at the age of 85. Loving husband of Martha Herr; beloved son of the late Leo F. and Mary Helen Herr; devoted father of Mary Lynn (Steven) Scherer, Mark (Linda) Herr, Tim (Teri) Herr, Kevin (Donna) Herr and Stephanie Machaby; cherished grandfather of Lucas (Amanda) Scherer, Ethan Scherer, William Scherer, Danielle (Tony) Sleeth, Casey (Zane) Montgomery, Trenton Herr, Kye Herr, Kelsey Herr, Reasmey Herr, Holly Herr, Leah (Dara) Sadri, Haley Herr, Geoffrey Herr, Tommy Herr, Sarah Herr, Caleb Kicklighter, Seth Kicklighter and Samuel Kicklighter; and treasured great-grandfather of four.
Jim was a member of Assumption Catholic Church. He was a third and fourth degree Knights of Columbus member. Jim was a past St. Peter Catholic Church School Board member and a member of the Duchesne High School Band Booster Club. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
