Arnold “Arnie†S. Wobbe, age 97, of Carlyle, passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church, with Fr. Steven Paulter and Fr. George Mauck, celebrating. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Zieren Funeral Home on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 P.M., and on Saturday from 8:00-9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, expressions of sympathy in memory of Arnie are suggested to St. Mary’s Church or a charity of the donor’s choice and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home, 1111 Clinton Street, Carlyle, IL 62231. |
