PETER M KAHORA

eter M. Kahora, Jr., 72, of New Tripoli, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He died peacefully surrounded by his family in presence, as well as his countless friends in love as he made his journey to Heaven. He was the husband of Janet (Larkin) Kahora to whom he was married 42 years. Born in East Brunswick, NJ, September 5, 1952, Peter was the son of the late Peter M. Kahora, Sr. and Frances (Romatowski) Kahora. He was employed as a Validation Engineer at Sharp in Bethlehem for the last several years. Prior to that, Peter worked for Thermofisher Scientific and Lucent Technologies. Peter was a devout member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield and the Knights of Columbus Council #10921 and served as a volunteer firefighter for New Tripoli Fire Company. Peter had an amazing love of the outdoors and enjoyed tending their property, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a family man in every sense of the word. He was a steadfast partner to his wife, Janet, he was incredibly proud of his three children, and his grandchildren were the absolute love of his life. The greatest title he ever held was that of 'Pap Pap.' He was always willing to lend a hand where he knew one was needed, even if he wasn't asked, and he was the kindest man that most people ever knew. He will be terribly missed by so many; but his time on Earth was a testament as he set a wonderful example of how to live, and how to treat other people. We will surely miss you Peter, Dad and Pap Pap- fly high with God's angels in Heaven. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Janet; children, Brian P. Kahora (Jessica) of New Tripoli, Emily M.
