Passed peacefully on January 27, 2025, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Ducharme) for 50 years. Loving father of Jason (Tammy) and Jeffrey (Tricia). Cherished Pepe of Abigail, Taylor, Benjamin, Landon, Joshua and Carter. He will be missed by his brothers Gerry (Patti), Tom (Susan), Pierre (Cindy), John (Marie-Josee) and David (Nancy) as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Vincent and Doris Morneau and parents-in-law Bill and Madonna Ducharme.
Marc enjoyed a successful career in the Canadian Packaged Goods industry where he held a number of Senior Sales and Marketing positions with Nabisco Brands, Hershey Foods Corporation, the AFC Food Group and he retired as the Regional Sales Director of Eastern Canada for one of our nations leading food, beverage and cheese importers and distributors. His assignments lead him and his family to spend over 30 years living in Burlington and working in Toronto with stops along the way in Halifax and Montreal. His work afforded him the opportunity to work and visit all 10 provinces over the years as well as a number of trips to Europe on special assignments. Upon retirement, he returned to Windsor after 36 years, in order to be centrally located between and closer to his family members. A devout Catholic, he was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, past Grand Knight of Council #5073 in Burlington as well as 2 term Grand Knight of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Council #13405 in Windsor. He later served as the Faithful Navigator of the Dean Wagner 4th Degree Assembly #862 in Windsor and is a former District Deputy of District 10. |
