McNulty, Joseph James 55, of Allen, Texas died December 19, 2009 after a long brave battle with cancer. Joe was born on October 17, 1954, in Jamaica, New York, the son of Rita and Edward McNulty.

Joe spent his childhood in Fords, New Jersey and Milton, Massachusetts along with his five siblings, Edward, Gerry, Mary, Danny and Rita. Following in the footsteps of his FBI agent father, Joe chose a career in law enforcement. After graduating from Bridgewater State College, Joe relocated to Dallas, Texas where he joined the Dallas Police Department.

Joe lived life to the fullest enjoying summers in Green Harbor, MA at the beach as well as many days spent with his family on his boat on Texas Lakes. Joe shared his love of music at family events and with friends. He taught both of his daughters the guitar. His oldest son, Joseph, had spirited debates about politics, which influenced his choice to pursue a law degree.
