PARR, Edward George (long time member of St. John Vianney Church) - Passed away at Sara Vista Nursing Home, Elmvale, on Saturday, November 15th, 2014. Edward Parr of Stroud in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Pearl (nee Burch) Parr. Loving father of William Parr of Stroud, Angel Parr of Stroud, Bonnie Simms (Pete) of Barrie, and Edward Parr Jr. (Rachel) of Keswick. Edward was a proud, loving grandfather and great-grandfather of many. Also survived by sister Dorothy. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME , 201 Minet's Point Road, Barrie, on Tuesday November 18th from 7pm to 9pm and Wednesday November 19th from 7pm to 9pm. Service in the Chapel on Thursday November 20th, at 11am. Family interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Edward to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
