COUNCIL #12567 - FATHER FRANCIS SYRIANEY REMEMBERS
JOSEPH "VINCE" VINCENT

Born: February 21, 1930 - Passed: December 23, 2014

Native of Denver, Colorado, Vince is survived by wife, Cathy; sons, Robert Vincent (Cindy) of Houston Texas, Martin Jay Vincent (Linda) of Lone Tree Colorado; and granddaughters, Ava and Zoe.

Joseph was a paratrooper for the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division and a sprint/midget race car driver in his youth. He worked for the Adolph Coors Company for 35 years, starting up the hospitality bar & tour in Golden, Colorado and managing a distributorship in Glenwood Springs, Colorado before retiring and moving back to the Denver area.

Vince was an avid motorcyclist, touring the 48 states, Mexico and Canada numerous times. Canada was his favorite place to ride. He and his wife Cathy enjoyed travel to places such as Italy, Ireland, Hawaii and Belize. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and they sure loved their “Papa”.

He and Cathy were members of Light of the World Catholic Church since inception. He became a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus in 2009.

Never slowing down, he took computer classes when he was 75. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. Most of all, he enjoyed his home and yard. People walking by would admire the beauty of his work.
