Andrew Peters, 31, of Aurora went home to be with his Heavenly Father after a valiant fight with brain cancer. He is now in peace for eternity. He was born March 9, 1983 in Aurora, IL.

Andy attended 3 world youth days in Rome, Germany, and Canada. He was an active member in the Cursillo movement with the Rockford diocese and was a very proud Knight of Columbus 4th degree with Holy Angels Cardinal Bellarmine council 4849. Andy was a dedicated Cubs fan.

He is survived by his loving parents Joe and Pam Peters of Aurora, IL; two beautiful sisters Amanda Peters of Aurora, IL and Nicole (Philip) Snow of Plano, IL; 3 Godsons/nephews Jacob, Zachary and Joshua Snow; his maternal grandparents William and Melba Ferguson of Strasburg, IL; his uncles Whitey (Kay) Peters of Aurora, Michael (Mary) Peters of Aurora, and Michael Ferguson of Strasburg, IL; his aunts Mary (Jim) Tracey of Aurora, Christina Placek of Effingham, Sandra (Joe) Barajas of Aurora, Barbara Bernaeyge of Romeoville, and Debra Ferguson of Strasburg, IL; many cousins; many friends and his work family at Strata Tac.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry J. and Margaret Peters; and his uncle Chris Peters.

Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 9:30am to Holy Angels Church at 10:00am. Fr. Michael Lavan will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N.
