Albert DeRonda, 75, formerly of Bolivia and Beaufort, NC and Hopewell Junction, died on May 2, 2021 at his home.
Born in Peekskill on May 26, 1945, he was the son of Karl and Susan (Kasakawitz) DeRonda. Albert proudly served our country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1972 and was employed as a strategic planner for IBM in East Fishkill, Poughkeepsie, and Somers. Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks. An avid golfer, he also volunteered with the Rescue Mission, and as a teaching assistant.
Albert is survived by his son, Richard DeRonda; his siblings, Monica DeRonda, Michael and Hedwig DeRonda, Dolores and Jim Mowbray, and Dottie Moran; his stepchildren, Danny Reuben and Kari Procopio; his grandchildren, Teddy, Brin and Lily; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Tomlinson on June 8, 1994; his second wife, Debra Reuben on May 14, 2017; and his siblings, Kathy Danko, Linda Heady, Karl DeRonda, and Ronald DeRonda. |
