Thomas "Tom" William Stazak of Alpharetta, Georgia, passed away on March 29, 2017. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Vice President of Sales for SKF USA Inc. after 34 years in various positions. He loved his family, friends, church, country and community. He was a founding member of Saint Benedict Catholic Church where he served as a minister of Holy Eucharist, an usher and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He served his community through volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and Meals on Wheels. He was an avid golfer and sports car enthusiast.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Staszczak; his mother, Mary Mole Staszczak; and his brother Joseph Staszczak.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 40 years, Renie; his beloved daughters Katey Stazak Rotenberry (Matt) of Sandy Springs, Georgia and Meggie Stazak Wallace (Keith) of Charlotte, North Carolina; his sisters Carol Becherel and Doris Modrak of Clinton Township, Michigan; his brother John Stasczcak of Rochester, Michigan; and eight nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday April 2, 2017 at Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell, Georgia. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday April 3, 2017 at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, Georgia 30097. Tom will be placed at final rest at 2:00 p.m. on Monday April 3, 2017 at Georgia National Cemetery, 5580 Knox Bridge Hwy. Canton, Ga. 30114. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, 760 Pollard Blvd. SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30315, or to Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek, Georgia 30097. |
