Robert Lucisano, better known to his friends and family as “Bobâ€, passed away surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren on February 14th, 2022. He battled an aggressive terminal cancer that was discovered in October of 2021. He is survived by his loving wife Katrina; Children: Alexandria (Sp. Austin Bowling), Robert (Sp. Proswara Lolam), Sarah (Alec Cohen), Annika, and Andrew; Grandchildren: Brady, Graeme, Wesley, and Lennon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Carl Lucisano, both first generation Italian-Americans.
Bob was born on October 20th, 1957 in Rochester, New York where he grew up, attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology, and met his wife Katrina. In 1992 they made the move with their 3 oldest children to Atlanta, Georgia. Since then they have raised two more children. Settling in Duluth in 2006, he has made some of his closest friends at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, a testament to his outstanding faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 20 years and was honored to be a 4th degree Knight. Bob was a lover of cigars, whiskey, fishing, golf, and most of all his family. He proudly owned his insurance company, Lucisano Insurance Agency, for almost 30 years and has been licensed for over 40 years.
Bob will be dearly missed by all that had the joy of meeting him, he was the most loving husband and father, loyal friend, and the foundation for all others in his life. He led an incredibly fruitful life and his memory will always live on through the love that his family and friends have for him.
Calling hours will be held at Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes located at 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 from 4:00 – 7:00PM on Friday February 18th. Funeral Service will be held at St. Benedicts Catholic Church located at 11045 Parsons Rd, Duluth, GA 30097 at 1:00PM Saturday February 19th. Friends and family are welcome to attend a reception in honor of Bob at 3:00 pm on February 19th at Stonebrier Clubhouse, 1905 Briergate Drive, Duluth, GA 30097. |
