Donald A. Kelsey, 88, of Suwanee, GA died March 11, 2021. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA with Father Paul Flood serving as celebrant. Burial will follow at a later date at Georgia Nantional Cemetery in Canton, GA.
Mr. Kelsey, a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, was a retired Deacon with the church, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a United States Navy veteran, was retired from the FAA, and was an airport chaplain for 27 years at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
Preceded in death by his son, Kevin Kelsey, he is survived by his wife, Camille Kelsey of Suwanee, GA; son, Keith Kelsey of Winchester, VA; daughter, Chris Kelsey of Newnan, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Lisa Kelsey of Buford, GA; daughter, Corrine Thomas of Lake in the Hills, IL; six grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 11045 Parsons Rd., Johns Creek, GA 30097 (770) 442-5903.
