Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Edwin Leo Londenberg, born August 11, 1926, passed away July 14, 2015. Leo cherished the company of his children and their families. It was clear to the children the great love and devotion that he held for his beloved wife, Margaret: a love that encompassed almost 69 years of marriage. His steady ways and his friendly company and companionship are irreplaceable. The loss of the pleasure of his presence is deeply felt and greatly missed.
The family is grateful for the loving care Leo received at Avalon Memory Care in Irving and to Vitas Hospice Care nursing staff.
He is preceded in death by his son, Mark. Survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Connie and husband Larry Hill; son Paul, and wife Linda; daughter Mary Ann and husband Tony LaPolla; Daughter, Theresa and husband, Mike McKissack; son Phillip and wife, Carmen; Son John and wife Terry; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2015 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9923 Midway Rd. in Dallas at 10:30, preceded by a Rosary at 10:00a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Monica Conference of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of the charity of your choice. |
