COUNCIL #8282 - ST. VIATOR CATHOLIC COMMUNITY REMEMBERS
GERRY A HOLINSKI

Gerald Adam Holinski, 65, died September 19, 2022, in Michigan near his loving siblings.

Gerry was born in Detroit on November 1, 1956, to Delores Holinski and Edward Holinski. They owned and ran several retail businesses, along with raising 8 children.

Gerry passed away unexpectedly after a valiant fight with complications due to multiple strokes.

Any person who met Gerry instantly became a friend and was never forgotten thereafter. He made it his business to stay connected irrespective of how busy his life was. His positivity was memorable.

Gerry graduated from UNLV and became an extraordinarily successful real estate agent in the Las Vegas area. He was a devout Catholic and active member of the Knights of Columbus.

The center of Gerry’s life was his family. He talked frequently about how he cherished his children, Elizabeth DiMarco (Andy), Justin Holinski, Luke Holinski, Daniel Holinski and Grace Holinski. Gerry is also survived by his siblings, Gregory Holinski (Debbie), Edward Holinski (Lisa), Barry Holinski, Cynthia Simon (Sanford Simon), Caryn Wachsmuth (Curt Wachsmuth) and James Holinski; his 25 nieces and nephews, and his grandchildren, Dominic, Dimitri, Dante, and Daniel who he loved intensely.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Holinski; his Father, Edward Holinski and his brother, Daniel Holinski.

Gerry was dedicated to his family, friends, and God. May his memory be a blessing for all of us.
