John G. Ketch left this earth on October 28, 2021, in Edmond OK. He was born in Tulsa, OK on February 27, 1932, to George and Lura Ketch. John grew up and went to high school in Enid, OK. He joined the U.S. Army in 1951 and was a veteran of the Korean war. He retired after 20 years of service in July of 1975. He attended Cameron University, graduating in 1979 with a B.S. in Agriculture Economics. John and Marilyn Bugg, of Enid, OK, were married in 1970. Upon graduating from Cameron University, he began working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He and wife Marilyn moved to Edmond, OK in 1985. After 35 years with the Department of Agriculture, John retired for good to spend his days with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife; four children and their spouses, Curtis Ketch and wife, Sue, of Lawton, OK, and their children, Vicki, Michael, and Benjamin; Teresa Harmon of Edmond, OK, and her son Ian; Doug Ketch and his wife Lynn of Edmond OK and their children Courtney, Megan, and Paige; and john Ketch and wife Stephanie Nobbe of Oklahoma City; and eleven great grandchildren. |
