It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Brother Knight Russell Earnest on June 1st down in Florida where he was currently residing. Russ was a Knight for 34 continuous years of service. He is survived by his wife Patricia ("Pat").

Russell Charles "Russ" Earnest, 81, of Poinciana, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Russ was born October 2, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois. He retired from Navistar and was a Veteran of the 3rd Armored Division U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Pearl (Seelige) Earnest. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pat; children, Mike (Lisa), Jody (Nicholas) Lang, Todd (Tiffany); grandchildren, Daphne, Rebecca, Gretta, Audrey, and Reed; brother, Joel (Gina), sisters, Judith Hill, and Deborah (Chip) Post.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass on Friday, July 15, at 10:30 AM at Saint Hubert Catholic Church, 729 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Disabled American Veterans. |
