G Patrick Sands, resident of De Pere, WI passed away on April 27, 2022. He was born on March 11th, 1947. He was a graduate of Northern Michigan University where he met his wife, Susan Koszloski of Ironwood, MI. They were married on August 7th, 1971.

He enlisted in the US Navy and served his country on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Vietnam War. He was proud to participate in an Honor Flight in 2021.

Pat was in computer sales until his retirement in 2008. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play hockey, football and baseball. He sang with the St. Francis church choir, WPS Chorus and Dudley Birder Chorale.

Pat was an off ice official for the St. Norbert’s Hockey team and was often manning a penalty boxor being a goal judge. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He also enjoyed a good meal at a super club. Pat and Sue traveled to many places and he could usually be seen enjoying his nightcap brandy on the back deck.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ruth Sands. He is survived by his wife Susan, his children Steven (Dena) Sands, Jenny (Eric) Delaruelle and Chris (Pam) Sands and grandchildren Carter, Reid, Caiden, Callum, Lauren and Breckon. As well as his siblings Kathe, Gary, Mary, Bill, Anne and Carol and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at St. Francis Catholic Church, 220 S. Michigan Street, De Pere after 9:00AM, Tuesday, May 3rd, until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating.
