Peter Michael Zegers, age 82, of Raytown, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Peter was born January 21, 1940.
Pete was born in David City, Nebraska to Lawrence and Thelma (Kindler) Zegers on January 21, 1940. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in David City, Nebraska in 1957.
Pete was a Navy Veteran serving from 1961 to 1964 where he was on the Midway during Vietnam. He returned to service again from 1975 to 1992 under the TAR Program. He also worked for Business Essential and KC Communications.
He was active in his church, Knights of Columbus Council 4962, and the VFW.
