Elmo Ronald McKamy "Ron" 72, was born March 19, 1938 and passed away July 17, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria and children, Ronald McKamy (Susan), Kelly Knapp, Kathleen (Greg) Terry and Susan Hillier; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Clem (Jan), Fr. Eldon and Robert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Germaine. Ron retired after 20 years in the Air Force and 20 years at the VA Hospital. He also volunteered at Mobile Meals for 22 years. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2010 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N. Tanque Verde Loop. Burial to follow at Our Lady of the Desert Cemetery with full Military Honors by Davis Monthan Base Honor Guard. |
