Softly the stars are shining upon a precious grave of one we dearly loved but whom we could not save.
Give him a special place Dear Lord, within thy Kingdom fair. Tell him to watch and wait for us, for someday we will be there.
Tell him we love him more each day, say we can hardly wait to hold him in our arms once more within thy Golden Gate.
