Percy A. Brignac Sr. died Friday, March 21, 2003, at Mary Washington Hospital. He was 73 and a resident of Fredericksburg, Va. Visitation with the family will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Community Center, Denham Springs, Saturday, March 29, 2003, until a memorial Mass. He is survived by his wife, Letha Brignac; a son, Anthony Brignac of Fredericksburg; two daughters, Cheryl Kimball of Fredericksburg, and Cathy Mitias of Farmville; a sister, Ima Remel of Bourg; and six grandchildren, Corey, Catherine, Caitlyn, Alexandra, Samira and Mary Claire. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a fourth degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 4034 and PGK 2002-3, Fredericksburg, a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6326, Denham Springs, a member of Theta Xi at LSU and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He was an active grandfather at Holy Cross Academy, past president of Livingston Gas in Livingston Parish, past commissioner of the Florida Parish Juvenile Justice Commission and was very active in numerous charitable organizations. |
