Thomas George Vayda 77, of Stafford County, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.Survivors include his sisters, Elizabeth V. Johnson and Margaret M. McDonough both of Stafford.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m on Feb. 17 at Covenant Funeral Service in Stafford. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m.A funeral Mass will be celebrated the next day at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Byzantine Rite Catholic Church on 6719 Token Valley Road, Manassas, VA 20108.
