Peter A. Nuccio, 89, of Fredericksburg, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at VCU Hospital in Richmond.Mr. Nuccio, a WW II veteran, owned Terian Wood Products and was a partner in Roxbury Mills Farm and Garden Center. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. Mr. Nuccio was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge BPOE #875.Survivors include his wife of 27 years Susie Nuccio; step-children Danny Dunkle (Thea), Diane Nordstrom (Scott), Steve Dunkle (Carrol) and Julie Knight (Butch); eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marion Nuccio, his brother Vincent Nuccio and his wife Rose.The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Thursday, Feb. 14 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.A service will be held at 10:30am Friday, Feb. 15 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials Processing Center, Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058. |
