HAROLD L FEDDER

 

Harold L. Fedder, 88, of Woodford died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at his home.
Born in Pennsylvania, he served in the Army during World War II. He was wounded in action in France and received the Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars. Harold was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church and had retired as a civil servant from Fort A.P. Hill.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Margaret Y. Fedder; six children, Margaret Polivka (Nick), Cathy Mills (Tommy), Mary Ann Mastin, Louise Whitfield, Betsy Tingler (Pepper) and Brian Fedder; his brother, James Fedder (Pat); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, with a rosary beginning at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at St. Mary of the Annunciation in Ladysmith. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Annunciation Catholic Church.
