COUNCIL #10762 - ST. PIUS X REMEMBERS
TERRANCE LANGEN

Terrance (Terry) Bryan Langen was tragically killed in a plane crash on Monday, June 25th, 2007. He was taken from us much too early and will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. He was born in Perth, New Brunswick, Canada on July 9, 1949 to Clarence and Carolyn Langen. He and his family moved to Tucson in 1963, and he entered Flowing Wells High School graduating in 1967. He was a locomotive engineer for over twenty years with the Sante Fe Railroad, and an active member of The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers serving a time as Legislative Representative of AZ Div 647. Terry was a man of many talents, interests and commitments, including spending time with family, helping others, (no matter the need or request) flying, woodworking, gourmet cooking, fishing, camping, kayaking. He was a talented musician who especially enjoyed playing bass while accompanying his father, a traditional Canadian fiddler. In living his life to the fullest, he enriched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind a much beloved wife, Diana Gates-Langen; children, Keith Langen (Becky) Melissa Badilla (Marty), Aaron Gates (Mary); grandchildren, Dustin, Kristen, Marty Jr., Danielle, and Sabrina; brother, Bill (Judy) and also many in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He always felt well loved and embraced by family and extended family. We all find that his passing leaves a void that will never be truly filled. He was a very spiritual and faithful believer and we know that his soul has been carried to the stars. A memorial and celebration of his life will take place at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, July 7th at 10:00 a.m. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to his many faithful friends and loved ones. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/tucson/obituary.aspx?n=terrance-bryan-langen-terry&pid=89987662#sthash.VTzsYHJa.dpuf
