Anthony F. Bolin, aAge 88, died on November 3, 2012. He was the son of Anthony F. Bolinski and Edna Trelor Bolinski Walston.
"Tony" Bolin grew up in the coal mining region of Eastern, PA and served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. After the war, he settled in the Philadelphia-Delaware area and married Aleen Laura Banks, to whom he was married for 11 years.
Tony retired in the 1980's from a career with State Farm Insurance. He was a member of Church of the Holy Child and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed visiting the casinos and was an avid fisherman. At the time of his death, he was living with his daughter in Felton, PA.
Mr. Bolin is preceded in death by his 2nd wife of 37 years, Lucy R. Storniolo Bolin, who died in 2001, and a sister, Marion Hesser. He is survived by a son, Richard A. Bolin and wife Cathy; and a daughter, Lucy A. Dill and husband William; grandchildren Kristan Strong, Daniel Bolin, Sarah Falk and Rachel Dill; and great-grandchildren, Ruby and Cameron Strong, and Elijah Falk |
