Ralph Ciancaglione Sr., age 82, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on June 11, 2019, at Seasons Hospice at Christiana.
Born in Philadelphia, PA. Ralph was the son of the late Liberatore “Benny†and Mary (Rosetti) Ciancaglione. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542 and spent over 25 years as a heavy equipment operator for Elser- Diviney and James J. Skelly Company. Ralph also enjoyed his part-time work with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission.
Ralph had a passion for horses, antique cars, and loved his annual hunting trips. He could also be found clipping recipes for his scrapbook collection. As an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Wilmington, Ralph enjoyed spending time with his F.O.E. family.
He is preceded in death by, brothers Frank, Benny, Victor, and sister Jeanette Cipolloni; daughter Joanne, grandson Andrew and his beloved pug Pookie. Loved dearly by, sister Teresa Fanelli, sons Ralph Jr. David (Michele), J. Michael, and daughters Maryanne Ciancaglione, Patricia Hower, Nicole Ciancaglione, Renee (George) McClellan. Admired by 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. |
