Lawrence Whalen, Stark, Kansas passed on December 25, 2019. He was son of John and Almeda Whalen, born on August 5, 1937. He graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1954 and served in the US Navy. Larry married his wife, Patricia Isom, June 20, 1959. She preceded him in death. He retired from Auto Wash Supply in 2001. He volunteered at the Grant Community Center helping with various tasks and running the concession stand during ball games. Larry was very outgoing and has never met a stranger. He loved to fish and made numerous fishing trips with friends. He and his wife, Patty, square danced with the Swinging Squares in Raytown, MO for many years. |
