COUNCIL #12022 - ST. ALBAN ROE REMEMBERS
NAT J LUCIDO

Lucido, Natale J., baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Monday, August 17, 2020.
Beloved husband of the late Rose Mary Lucido (nee Cuneo); dearest father of Vito (Toni) Lucido and Linda (Mike) Elmore; dear grandfather of Katelyn and Ryan Retzlaff; dear guardian of James Radley, our dear uncle, great-uncle, Godfather, cousin, and friend of many.

After graduating from De Andreis High School in St. Louis, Missouri, Natale enlisted in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany. After his military service, he met the love of his life, his wife Rose, and they were married at Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis in 1962. While raising his family, he was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Ferguson, Missouri. He was dedicated to the church and the Men’s Club. Natale and Rose later moved to Wildwood, Missouri where they became members of St. Alban Roe Parish. As with his previous parish, Natale was again dedicated to the church.

The bulk of his working life was as Controller at PVO International, a vegetable oil processing and commodities trading company in St. Louis, MO. He was a graduate of St. Louis University. Later in life, he became a bus driver for First Student in the Rockwood School District, which was near his home in Wildwood, Missouri.

Nat Lucido was a dedicated member for many years of the Knights of Columbus, Council 12022 at St Alban Roe Parish in Wildwood, Missouri. He held an officer position for many years with the council. During his time with the Knights he became a true friend of all his brother knights and was there to help them whenever needed. All were sad to see him when he was there to send off his beloved Rose to her heavenly reward. Nat will always be held in great esteem for all his contributions to St Alban Roe Parish and for being a person everyone looked up to as a true man of faith.
