Helen R. Peddicord, age 80, of Sykesville passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at home. Helen, sister of the past Ladies Club president, Mary Rash, was a long-standing member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Libertytown and a member of their Ladies Club.
She was well known for her "dish washing" skills. Helen was everyone's favorite person to have a talk with without facing judgment. Her talks will be missed very much by family and friends. She supported the St Peter the Apostle Council of the Knights of Columbus whether it be serving lunch at the Council reception after our installation of Officers or working alongside other Council members during the Parish Lenten meals. She could be found at our monthly Bingo night enjoying the fellowship and food.
The Council has lost a dear friend and it will be sorely missed. Her final wish was to have the Knights be her pall bearers and that wish was fulfilled with the help of Knights Joe Mandato, Mark Kulis, Marty Nau and Michael Jacobs.
Eternal rest, grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. |
