COUNCIL #4849 - CARDINAL BELLARMINE REMEMBERS
RONALD F. NOLAN

Ron (pictured with wife Carol) passed away peacefully Sunday, July 19, with his wife at his side. There is no obituary or wake (he will be cremated). He was known by his family as "The Legend". Thanksgiving was his favorite day of the year as it was when family gathered together. He always insisted on doing the dishes. He was the last survivor of his siblings. He will be missed!

There will be a memorial "drive by" on Saturday, August 8, from 1pm-4pm at his home:

928 S. 11th St.
Dekalb, IL 60115

Ron's wife and family want to meet and greet, and treat. They are thinking "honey buns" for mourners as Ron loved sweets. The family has requested that friends provide a "fond memory" of Ron which will be placed in a basket so the family can read and share later.

The following poem was composed by nephew Trevor

I had the honor and privilege
Of knowing a man so great
A man that had no anger
A man that knew No hate
With a soul that was so loving
And a heart made of pure gold
So caring and charismatic
With a humor oh, so bold
I've never known a more gentle man
Someone so rich with love
He sure was pure perfection
That was sent from God above
A man that was cut so perfectly
That brought joy to the ones he knew
The kindest soul to walk this earth
A man of God so true
He lived a life so rich in faith
He loved our God so much
His presence ever so warming
Our hearts he truly touched
I'll miss his calls to check on us
To remind us that he cared
I'll miss his voice and loving laugh
And all the love he shared
One day we will see him again
When he greets us up in Heaven
So for now we say a sad goodbye
Until we meet again!

We love you Uncle Ronnie and will miss you dearly!
