HAROLD EDWARD KLOTE

Harold Edward Klote, 91, of Raymore, MO passed away December 31, 2019. Harold was born in Quincy, IL in May of 1928 to Glenn X. and Olive Rose (Thompson) Klote. He grew up in Edina, MO and was the oldest of 8 children. Harold worked on the family farm until he attended Chillicothe Business College. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and later married his sweetheart, Dorothy (Rose). Together they raised a family including 5 children and spent 65 years together.
Harold was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church Catholic Church in Raytown and served in many organizations. He was a lifetime Member of Council 4962 Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and a member of the Honor Guard, which he loved. He coached and helped for many years with the Raytown Little League.
Harold will be dearly missed by family and friends he has made throughout his lifetime. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to Our Lady of Lourdes.
