COUNCIL #13290 - ST. PETER THE APOSTLE REMEMBERS
NICHOLAS JOSEPH DISIPIO III

Nicholas Joseph DiSipio, III, age 58, of Mount Airy, Maryland died suddenly on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. He was born on Palm Sunday on March 26, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA to Mary DiSipio and the late Nicholas DiSipio, Jr.

Nick leaves his loving wife, Theresa Ann, daughters Noelle Onto (Keith) and granddaughter, Riley, daughter Theresa C. DiSipio, mother, Mary DiSipio, sisters, Antoinette Ryan (Fran), Mary Bliven (Mark), Marie Elena Brown (Chuck), a host of nieces, nephews and very special friends and relatives to cherish his memory.

Everyone who knew Nick, knew how large his personality was, how he could captivate an audience and how talented he was as a storyteller. He was extremely loyal to his faith, family and friends.

Nick felt he was everyone’s protector. This is why it was no surprise how successful Nick was both in his personal and professional life. He connected with every person he met, both young and old. In his spare time, Nick had a love of cars, especially Porsches, loved to hunt and was an active volunteer for his parish family at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Libertytown, MD. He was the head of the Development Committee for the church during the most recent new church mortgage campaign, was a brother knight with the Knights of Columbus Council 13290 and was a past Grand Knight for the council.

He loved all people but he had a special place in his heart for all children. So it is no surprise that his favorite yearly activities were making chocolate chip pancakes for the children during Breakfast with Santa and prepping snacks for the parish children during the Vacation Bible School week.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research or St. Peter’s Church Mortgage.
