DANVILLE - Reginald J. "Reggie" Bush Jr., 59, of Danville, Ill., passed away at 4:35 a.m. November 16, 2019, at his home in Danville.
Reggie was born September 26, 1960, the son of Reginald J. and Shirley (Powell) Bush Sr. in Detroit, Nich.
Survivors include four sons, Reginald J. Bush III, Joseph Bush, Jacob Bush and Joshua Bush; one daughter, Jennifer Bush; one brother, Frank Dodd; and three sisters, Bonnie Dodd, Sandra Blake and Deborah Tahy; as well as six grandchildren.
Reggie is preceded in death by his parents.
Reggie worked in the construction trade as a contractor for many years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
Cremation rites were accorded, and private family services will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834, is assisting the family with arrangements.
