Peacefully at the Centre d'accueil Roger Seguin, Clarence Creek, Ontario, on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, Patrick F. Gunning, passed away on the day following his 88th birthday. Loving husband of the late Dorcas Anne Shane. Dear son of the late James and May Gunning. Devoted father to the late Kimberly Simonian. Grandfather to eight grandchildren. Beloved brother of Joan (John Tormey) of Ireland and Freda Jones of England. Predeceased by sister Anne Connelly and brother James Gunning. He will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law, Imelda Gunning (late James) and Dorothy Shane (late Edgar), many nieces and nephews from Canada, Ireland, Australia, England and United States. Patrick immigrated to Toronto, Ontario in 1957 where he worked as a Produce Broker until his retirement. A Eucharistic Celebration will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Divine Love Church, Pendleton, Ontario. Interment Parish Cemetery.
