Mooney, Timothy C. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Saturday, May 31, 2014. Timothy had a true love for his family. He was the beloved husband of Mary Kaye Mooney (nee Schoettlin); dear father of Kathy (Hubert) Mooney Chan and Tim (Betsey) Mooney Jr.; dear grandpa of Patrick and Rebecca Mooney and Peter and William Chan; dear son of the late Raymond and Eithel Mooney; dear brother of the late Betty (Hillary) DeJean; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, godfather and friend. Tim was passionate about serving others. He was an advocate for Catholic education, serving on the Archdiocesan School Board, as well as the boards of Assumption Parish School, Cor Jesu Academy and Cardinal Ritter College Prep. He was an active parishioner at Assumption and volunteered with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Tim was a lifelong organist who celebrated life through music. He enjoyed fishing, travel, playing bridge, and his good friends. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Wednesday, June 4, 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers, Masses or donations to Assumption Parish Memorial Gift or Cor Jesu Academy Capital Campaign.
