Robert F. Findley, 83, of Aston, Pa, died Friday, August 30, 2019 at Kindred Health Care in Havertown surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born in Virginia. He proudly served his country as a United States Marine, performing electrical engineering duties. Robert re-enlisted with the Air Force to focus on the same job with them. During his time spent in Brookhaven he became affectionately known as “Handyman Bob” for helping the elderly with odd jobs for over 10 years. Bob was also a member of the American Legion Post 926 of Aston, the Marine Corp in Upland and the Knights of Columbus in Claymont, DE. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan and enjoyed watching the games with his brothers and sisters at the Legion. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his wife Natalie and his dog Gizmo.
Robert is survived by his wife of 6 years, Natalie M. Buckley Quinney; also survived by Kenneth Quinney, Thomas and his wife Sue Quinney and Richard and his wife Judy Quinney; his grandchildren, Cassie Quinney, Jeff Quinney, Sean Quinney, T.J. Quinney and Ricky Quinney. He was predeceased by his father Robert Findley and his grandson Kenneth Quinney, Jr.
