MICHAEL G ROEBER

 

Michael Roeber, age 51 and a 14 year member of the Knights of Columbus (the last 9 years in our Council), passed away as a result of a car accident. Mike was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
After high school he attended SD State University in Brookings, SD earning a degree in electrical engineering. After college he worked for a small company in S.D for a short time before moving to Iowa where he worked for power products company. He was later transferred to Illinois where he met his wife.
On August 30th, 1997 he was married to Mary J. Koster and they made their home in Woodstock, Illinois where their 4 children were born and he joined the Knights of Columbus in 2005 and the Fourth Degree in 2006. In 2010, the family moved to West Bend, and he worked for Hubbell Acme in Milwaukee.
They are members of St. Frances Cabrini, where they are very active and he was also a scout leader for Troop #796. They were the Knight and Family of the Month this past January for helping in our Life Savers for Life drive and Mike was a captain for a team in our Tootsie Roll drive. His funeral was held on Friday, March 22 at St. Frances Cabrini with visitation from 2:30 to 6 pm. Our Council had our Prayer Service at 2:30p with a Mass at 6pm.
