Jeffery A. Johnson, 49, of Waukegan, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born on July 3, 1961 in Lake Forest, IL. Jeff was the Purchasing Director for the Great Lakes Naval Hospital for the past 25 years. He had also been the Choir Director for the old Holy Family Parish in North Chicago, Queen of Peace Parish in North Chicago, and recently for all three sites of Most Blessed Trinity Parish in Waukegan. Jeff taught voice and music to many in the community. He was a great lover of the theater and an active member of community theater including the Waukegan Community Players. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Waukegan Council 731.
He is surviced by one brother, Ron (Julie) of Pleasant Prairie, WI, three sisters; Robin (Christopher) Fabry of Zion, IL, Lynn (Douglas) Byron of McHenry, IL, and Debbie (Randy) Fabry of Scottsdale, AZ, his father, Ronald K. Johnson of Waukegan, and nieces and nephews; Ryan and Hannah Fabry, Allison and Kayce Fabry, Derek and Kyle Johnson, and Courtney and Reilly Byron, and many extended family, friends and parish family who will all miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joyce on March 3, 2011, maternal grandparents, Arthur and Bernice Tonyan, and paternal grandparents, Henry and Virginia Johnson. |
